About the Owners

Thank you for visiting my website and wanting to know a little about us.

I have been in the real estate business for some time now with experience in real estate, mortgage, and real estate investing. I have worked renting homes, selling homes, buying and selling houses (flipping) and mortgages. I have worked with buyers and sellers as a realtor, bought and sold wholesale properties, flipped contracts, rehabbed houses, done short sales, and dabbled in almost every aspect of real estate.

This all started several years ago when I first got a real estate license. I started off with a company that focused primarily renting houses to tenants. Some were apartment complexes and some were private owners. From there I focused on selling homes to buyers, and listing houses for sellers. I eventually built my first real estate website and figured out how some of this internet stuff worked. My website became one the heaviest trafficked site for my area.

I really enjoyed working with buyers and sellers. The feeling of helping buyers get into their dream home was very satisfying, and the money was nice too. Eventually it became too much work, so I built another real estate website.

This time I built a "we buy house" website. The site focused on buying ugly and distressed properties. I had a lot of fun and even did some of the demolition on some of the houses, even a little of rehab too. Then the real estate market changed and it was time for a new site, so here we are.

Why the Websites?

I built these three websites (zitrof.com / zitrof-wholesaleproperties.com / zitrof-forsalebyowner.com) to help sellers and buyers get a service I feel should be free to the public.

Zitrof.com; You are currently on this site! Zitrof is our website dedicated to providing information on real estate, our faq, tips, and forum. This allows to free up traffic and bandwith our our other site.

Zitrof-ForSaleByOwner.com; This is our Free For Sale By Owner website. The service is completely free with the exception of a few bucks for extra photos to cover bandwith and storing of files.

Zitrof-WholesaleProperties.com; Wholesale Properties are those properties sold on a secondary market. They are mainly sold by investors to other investors or house rehabbers. This is another FREE service.

At time while working with sellers and buyers as a real estate agent I felt like I was robbing someone. I liked the helping them sell and buy houses, and enjoyed the money, but felt a little awkward. Real Estate agents and broker charge a lot of money mostly because they have to cover their expenses for marketing, and several memberships. They also spend a lot of time networking, and driving around trying to find business. Very little time is actually spent working for the clients --marketing or searching for homes.

I decided that I would remove this middle person. Our real estate website focus on educating the home buyer as well as the seller on how to sell and buy houses by owner. We provide you with the same information most real estate agents have, if not more.

Did you know that in some states to become a real estate agent you just need to take a week course and pass a simple test? You should see some of the "agents" that would call me to show one of my listings, or even worst --submit an offer. I cringed!!!!

Trust me, you can do this yourself and do a better job than a lot of "realtors". By the way to become a "realtor" -- one the so called highly ethical people in real estate -- all you need to do is pay the board of realtors to become a member, once you have your real estate license. Does money = ethics?

Take a little time and educate yourself, then buy or sell your house by owner. Real estate is not rocket science! If you would have seen some of the real estate agents I had to work with, you would believe me when I say that ANYONE can sell or buy their own home. The only side effect is that you might like this and progress to investing in real estate!
