Authorization to release disclosure
An Authorization to release disclosure is normally found in your loan application documents, thus granting authorization to release information to the lender information required for the loan process --such as your credit report, saving/checking account verification, loan status and payment history, and employment or related compensation verification.
If doing a short sale, your lender will also require an authorization to release to verify information submitted as part of the short sale and/or allow your real estate attorney or real estate agent to negotiate with the lender.
